Sports: Swimming

Swimming is an excellent all-around activity that exercises most of the muscle groups. It is a sport which is suitable for people of many different ages and fitness levels. To make this sport you need:

-Goggles for eye protection

-a bath cap

-a swimsuit

The bad things about swimming is that, like in every sport, you can get heart... in this one you can get am ear infection or irritation from water, or you can also get an eyes irritation from chlorine in the pool...

The good things are that like I said, it's a very complete sport... and another thing is that you can refresh yourselve if the day is warm... and if tere is a cold day out there... you can go to a conditionated pool...

I really like swimming and I have been doing it since I was a little boy... y really recomend it...

Surfing --Ivana Stam

Surfing is a popular sport in places which haves many beaches and a very good weather.there aren´t so many TV programs that cover it in Argentina,or in other cities where th weather isn`t very good , and don`have beaches,bu in places were suurfing is very popular, there are magazines and sports programmes tha cover it.There are competitions in where a lot ofpeople compete on,and the best surfers win a trophy.

The best side of surfing is that when the weather is very hot, you can get splashed with the water that spatters from the waves.If you practice a lot, you´ll win a trophy!

As like as other sports, surfing has its worst side.Sometime, the sea can be dangerous.If you go surfing when there is bad weather and dangerous wavez,you would prbably get out of your board and get hurt.or if there are rock(like in Mar del PLata), you can fall and throb seriously with the rocks.

In my opinion, this sport is very interesting and funny in summer times, in spite of i'm not good at all at this , and that people should take care when they go surfing.

Hi! I´m Maru!!!! I´m 13 and I live with my parents and my little brother...who isn´t very little, he´s 9...but anyway..he´s my little brother.
I don´t like sports, even though I´m not bad. But itsn´t something that I enjoy.
What I really like is watching a programme called 90210 and I never miss any episode because it´s a great and very intresting show!You should watch it.
In my free time..when I´m not using the computer or listening to music .... I like to read and the book that I´m reading is Twilight. My granny bought me all the saga and I´m on the third book. Can´t wait to finish!!!!
My favourite place in the world is Viña del Mar, in Chile. It´s a very beautiful place: the beaches are wonderful and the flats too!
